Welcome to my page.  My name is Sarah Parsons, and I am a sustainable landscape consultant.  If you are a homeowner, institution, or business, who wants to design a more sustainable landscape, I provide the services to help you along your path.  Since 2011, I have been helping clients design landscapes that are more ecological and resource efficient.  I have helped institutional and business clients with larger scale landscapes achieve SITES pilot certification.  The Sustainable SITES Initiative (SITES) is a new certification that celebrates sustainable landscape design.  I have also helped individual homeowners create designs and adopt best practices that support more healthful ecological functioning on their landscapes.  I have extensive knowledge of native plants and small-scale vegetable production in the Southeast U.S., and I am always seeking ways to incorporate more natives and edible plants on landscapes.  I believe in purposeful landscapes that serve to improve our ecological and societal well being.
